No. Searching, reading reviews, asking for quotes and messaging a business are all free and always will be. Businesses pay for leads and for placement; customers pay nothing, and we take no cut of the work.

No. Every listing, every price and every review is readable without signing in. You only need an account to message a business or post a job, because otherwise there is no way for them to reply to you.

A real identity document was checked against that account by a person. We keep the fact that it matched and delete the document, so the badge means somebody put their name behind the listing — not that we are storing a scan of their ID.

Only in the slot marked Sponsored, in that word. Everything else is ordered by match, rating, reply speed and distance. Nobody can buy a rating, a review or a badge.

Reviews from somebody who contacted the business through Trustline are marked as such — we can see that the conversation happened. A business can dispute any review, and one the reviewer cannot back up is removed.

Trustline introduces you; the agreement is between you and the business. If something goes wrong, leave an honest review and tell us — a business with a pattern of complaints is removed. We cannot get your money back, and we will not pretend we can.

It depends on the business, which is why every listing shows how fast that one usually answers, measured from real conversations rather than from what they say about themselves. Many answer within the hour.

Nothing. A listing with your trades, area, hours, prices and photographs is free. You only pay if you choose to take on a posted job, or bid for a spot at the top of your trade.
